Who doesn’t love a sausage sizzle on a Saturday? Come along to the Sorry Day Stolen Generations Community Gathering and grab a feed to support the deadly work of First Nations Response (FNR)!

First Nations Response (FNR) is a grassroots Aboriginal women-led organisation that was founded in 2020 during the Covid-19 lockdown era to provide culturally appropriate support and urgent food relief to the Inner West and Inner City of Sydney mobs.

Since then, FNR has continued to meet urgent community need by providing food relief pop ups, emergency relief, community support and outreach. Although FNR is primarily focused on providing food relief to the community, they also provide ongoing support and assistance to the community as needed to the extent that their resources allow.

They have responded to flooding, protests, vigils, sorry business, deaths in custody, and women escaping domestic violence. To cover the costs associated with the work they do in the community, they are aiming to raise $100,000 in 2023. The funds raised will allow FNR to continue their vital work. We hope that this fundraiser helps them get closer to that goal!

See you there!
